Last day of vacation

Our last day of vacation we had quite a few surprises. I’m going a little out of order here, but the last thing we saw before we packed up our stuff and headed home was this scorpion in our bathroom sink. That’s right. The Southern Devil Scorpion is one of only two varieties of scorpions known to live in Georgia. Lucky us. We found one.

The swing bridge on the Appalachian trail was our final excursion and it was well worth it. I will try to post some other pictures later on. The designers of this bridge were quite ingenious.

Mary. Loves. S’mores.

We did have to go to Rome and pick up Gandalf and bring him back to Atlanta. He rode in the car with me and was pretty well behaved. One cool cat, man.

I’ll leave you with this pic of Mary byt he fire which I LOVE.
