Lev Gartman went to Engineering School at the University of Michigan. Bored with the possibility of success, he started a percussion group there which would ultimately lead to a desire to get involved in the entertainment world. After graduating subtly in the middle of his class, Lev became an intern for the off-broadway show, STOMP. Realizing he made too much money at this minimum hourly rate, Lev became a production assistant on several films and TV shows in NYC where they don’t really have any sort of fair-pay legislation for PAs. Soon Lev got a job at TNT in Atlanta, where he currently produces on air promotions for TNT shows, like Men of A Certain Age, Mondays at 10/9c, and he also writes for the tbs.com Today’s Riff. Lev got started in improv at JaCKPie because in the summer of 2007, taking classes on Saturdays was a healthy alternative to the negative effects of watching University of Michigan Football on television. Lev currently performs as a part of Your Moms Mom and Improv Monster and is the Producer of JaCKPie Video.
